What if we're not sure which services we need?

That's completely normal, and honestly, it's often the healthiest starting point. Organizations that come to us with a rigid solution in mind sometimes miss the real problem entirely.

Every engagement begins with a discovery phase where we diagnose before we prescribe. We'll ask questions, review your current state, and identify the highest-leverage opportunities. You don't need to have it figured out. That's what we're here for.

What's the typical engagement length?

Projects range from focused 2-6 week sprints to ongoing strategic partnerships. We scope based on outcomes, not hours.

Most relationships start with a defined project, and if we're both happy with the results, we expand from there. We're not trying to lock you into long-term contracts. We'd rather earn your continued business by delivering results.

What does pricing look like?

We work exclusively on fixed-price projects. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices, no scope creep charges.

After our discovery process, you'll receive a detailed proposal with the full cost, timeline, and deliverables. You approve the price before any work begins. If the scope changes mid-project (and sometimes it should), we'll discuss it openly and agree on adjustments together.

Our minimum engagement is $20,000, with most projects falling in the $50,000 to $150,000 range depending on complexity and duration.

Do you replace our existing team?

Never. We work alongside your team, not instead of them.

Our goal is to build capacity. We want to leave your organization stronger than we found it. That means training, documentation, and knowledge transfer are built into every engagement. When we're done, your team should be able to maintain and build on what we've created together.

How do you handle confidentiality?

Seriously. Every engagement includes a mutual NDA before any substantive conversations begin.

We don't share client names, strategies, or results without explicit permission. This is why our case studies are locked until we've established trust. Many of our clients work on sensitive political, advocacy, or competitive matters, and discretion is non-negotiable.

What if it's not a fit?

We'll tell you. Directly and without wasting your time.

If we don't believe we can add meaningful value to your situation, we'll say so. We'll also try to point you in the right direction, whether that's a different type of firm, an internal hire, or a completely different approach to your problem.
